Karakol - Karakol valley - Kurgak-Tor gorge - "Sirota" camp site

First half of day is spending by driving through into the Karakol gorge by 4x4 soviet military car. Second half of the day is smoothly walking for a 600 m up and camping in a tree line (3000m) nearby crystal clean water of Kurgak Tor. Working day 2-3 hours.

Day 3

Keldike valley - Altyn-Arashan hot springs

The Keldike valley is frequently visited by shepherds, who usually feed their cattle during the summer. The trail goes all the way down till Altyn-Arashan hot springs by crossing some small rivers. Working day 4-5 hours.

Day 2

Sirota - Lake Ala-Kol - pass Ala-Kol (3 800 m) - Keldike gorge.

The trail to Ala-Kol lake leads up and up, along the river (coming from the Ala-Kol lake). With a nice view for the waterfall, the amazing Ala-Kol lake, the glacier, and when you reach the pass you will find yourselves surrounded by high peaks. After admiring, the trail continue via gentle descent down from the pass. Camp (3 000 m). Working day 6-7 hours

Day 4

Altyn-Arashan hot springs - Ak-Suu - Karakol.

After some dip in the hot springs walk down to Ak-Suu forestry village and by car get to KArakol town. Working time 3-4 hours.

3.To The Heart Of The Celestial Mountains, Enylchek

Central Tien Shan, located on the border of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China, is one of the most popular moutaineering center of the world. The route belongs to one of the most famous trekking path in Kyrgyzstan Trekkers can feel the power of the glacier in the south Enylchek valley, which is the second largest glacier in the world outside of the polar ice caps, with a length of more than 60 km. The appointment is the base camp at the foot of the great mountains. There is a beautiful view of the highest points of the Tien Shan mountains - Victory (Tomur 7 439 m) and Khan Tengri (6 995 m). Kan Too, the seond highest peak in this range, is the treasure of the Tien Shan It is said only a few other mountains can compete with the beauty of Khan Tengri.

4.Trekking To Ala-Kol Glacier

This is one of our favourite routes in the Teskey Ala-Too range. In this route we begin from beautiful forest zone in Karakol National Park then time by time get higher and higher. We will drink the glacial crystal clear water coming from the Ala-Kol glacier where we can see the beginning of the water. Amazing view from the Takyr-Tor pass to high mountains around. We will see two waterfalls and will be able to take a dip in the wild hot spring water. Also the hot springs of Altyn-Arashan always welcomes us for its hot pools. Again there are not enough words to describe the beauty of the lake and its surrounding landscape, you just need to see it!

This day need to start the walk early to cross the glacier, after pass the beautiful pass Takyr-Tor then slowly go down through the moraines to the valley. On the way in a good weather take a wild hot spring. Camp in a tree line. Walking 5-6hrs.

5.To Merzbacher Lake In Kyrgyzstan

After this eight days of trekking in the highest mountain range in the world with most impressive view from the 4000m pass and unique Merzbacher lake you will have one of the best memories in your trekking experience. The trek goes along one of the longest glaciers in the world. The lake Merzbacher is known for its mysterious fill and explode cycles. Every year between mid July to August the lake bursts and explodes into Enylchek River below the glacier and starts a new cycle of filling. The lake is named after the German geographer Gottfried Merzbacher led an expedition which discovered it in 1903. It is an object of research scientists, close by there are observation stations.
